- The Illini Bass Fishing Team is down in Pickwick, Alabama competing in the Boat U.S. Collegiate National Championship! Follow our guys on the water as they compete against the best college anglers in the nation!
- Check out the results from our Second Annual IBFC High School Open by clicking on the High School Open Results tab above. It took a weight of 17.73 pounds to win and big bass was 6.75 lbs! Tons of pictures are posted on our Facebook. Thanks to everyone who participated in the event!
- Our 2nd Annual High School Tournament on April 7th was a huge success thanks to our many great sponsors. The anglers weighed in many great fish and walked away with the best equipment money can buy.
- The Illini Bass Fishing Club is also proud to announce our new sponsor Mac's Tackle! Mac's Tackle has been an huge asset to the club in years past and we look forward to developing a long term relationship.

SPOTLIGHT
On April 7th the Illini Bass Fishing Club held the 2nd Annual High School Open on Clinton Lake. The tournament was a huge success and high Schools from all over Illinois competed in a 67 boat tournament fishing for many great prizes and bragging rights until next year. The morning of the tournament was cool but by the afternoon the sun was out and the weather could not have been better. The anglers had a great time with 52 teams weighing in fish, the biggest coming for Lake Clifton of Monticello High School who caught a 6.75lb largemouth . The team of Michael Gullette, Brandon Lavery, and Danielle Weber of Dunlap High School came away with the win with 17.73lbs, the entire results can be found here. Along with our many great sponsors represented the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant had a booth explaining new Illinois regulations concerning invasive species.
